hey /sci/
just a quick simple question to prove my friend wrong
I'm in year 12 doing further maths and we had a week long SAC and there was a question requesting to draw a scatterplot of house prices vs a period of time dated every 3 months (may, june, september, december)
and according to the basics of scatterplots, and well, statistics altogether, Y is the dependent value and X is the independent value
my friend told me that for the question the house prices should go on the X axis and the date on the Y axis. in other words he suggests that the price of houses has an effect on time itself
I suggest its the other way around, is my friends stupid, or am I?
tl;dr my friends an idiot and thinks house prices alters time

One solution, and one only. Is that what you call creative?
Even molecular biology is more creative than that.
