Why attend classes if you can just read books about the subject?

If the universe is a computer simulation, why is there no lag?

If temperature is defined as the average speed of a collection of molecules, why does a stiff breeze feel cool?

How come whenever I input "ln x" in Wolfram Alpha it changes it to "log x"?

Why do people call themselves atheists when entering a discussion about religion? Wouldn't it be more productive to assume a secular humanist title instead of an atheism? Atheism simply states disbelief in god, there are many religion that don't have god as a key figure/any role in their religion. People that assume the title atheists in religion discussion are therefore dumbass

If numbers are imaginary concepts, then why basis does it have over the "real" reality? If numbers only describe the reality that we perceive, then the reality we perceive is nothing more than imaginary concepts.

What was different about the conditions on earth that made it more suitable for larger, stronger life rather than the more intelligent and distinctly warm blooded life we have today?

Is it pure coincidence? Is is something to do with the moon or the higher amounts of oxygen in the atmosphere back then?
