yea its a theory in the same sense that i can say unicorns created the universe is a theory. it is not a VALID theory though, not even close. why? because we dont know the first thing about how life began. how can you have a valid theory that accounts for all life when you dont even have the most basic understanding of life itself, and yet the theory YOU subscribe to tries to explain an even yet more difficult question. its totally absurd and illogical.

why are you assuming that the truth has to be helpful to you? seems kind of anthropocentric to me (ironic, thats what atheists accuse theists of being). supernatural is also not the only alternative to "nature did everything by chance derp"

when atheists search for a natural cause for something, they are not being true scientists. they are not following the evidence where it leads, they are trying to find or create evidence for the way they think things should be. people like this have constantly stifled scientific progress throughout history.
