No, I think those still have to be written. It also depends on what you study. Ironically >>12518732 is mentioning Arnold and I know his Mathematical methods of classical mechanics is online. I don't like it too much I think, I only like the German books, but it will work.

>Why do we stop at triple integrals? Couldnt we just keep going on forever?
Ostensibly, but don't tell the finitists

Dedekind cuts or Cauchy sequences.
In case you have to choose between those two, which is better?

What's more fundamental:
* posets, preorders, orders, etc.
* rings, fields, etc.

>years behind in University
Lots of reasons, but let’s not dwell on that. Me being a lazy piece of shit played a big role.
>decide to finally get my shit together
>was supposed to study this summer for the coming exams
>relaxed because “there’s still time maaaan” and due to the lax life I was used to
>clock’s tucking down
>~20 days remaining
Is it enough time to get through the Electromagnetism section of Serway and Jewett’s “Physics for Scientists and Engineers 8th Edition”? It’s 12 Chapters and about 400 pages. I’m literally drowning here and on the 25th’s the exam (I’m supposed to be taking Linear Algebra on the 21st, which I also haven’t started, but I can look at it at nights). I don’t want to write a 9/10, even just a 6/10 would be good enough for me to get back on my feet. How should I go about this? Do I read the whole book (it’s what I did during my first two semesters)? Do I just focus on the equations and general concepts at the end, then solve some exercises, instead of reading all those paragraphs? I have a Chegg subscription so I can look at the solutions manual too.

Help. Please.

How do you deal with anti-intellectualism?

>my gf's sister is visiting us
>she has no interest in anything intellectual at all
>just watches stupid Instagram and TikTok wannabe celebrities twerking all day
>she sees a math book on my chair
>makes a disgusted look on her face
>sarcastically asks "Anon, do you really read that?"
>she's even more disgusted when I tell her, I do it only for fun and for intellectual satisfaction
>now she thinks I'm a weirdo
