Could someone non-schizophrenic answer this? I have little knowledge regarding dentistry and I'd rather avoid spending a large chunk of cash on seeing a dentist if it is a case of arrested caries as I suspect.

I currently have a 542 points/746 points in Calc 3.

My final tomorrow is worth 200 points, 20% of my grade. Total points will be 946. Assuming I'm just looking to pass with a 70, is my math correct in saying I need at least a 60% on my final to pass the class? This seems like such an easy thing to calculate but it almost seems too easy, which will lull me into a false sense of security in which I fail the final.

OP still here. Can anyone think of any other areas to focus on, beyond demonstrating leadership abilities, being academically well-rounded, taking part in extracurricular activities, and being a "hard worker with a personality?" Playing some kind of a race card doesn't really sit right with me, to be honest.

'Potheads' in general, are stupid nincompoops, who misuse Marijuana, and give themselves, and the drug a bad rep. Lets examine Buddhists. Smoking of certain herbs in Buddhism has been a custom in that it is used to elevate their level of consciousness of understanding the world around them, and how, and why thinks work the way they do, in some sense or another. The American way however, is to pass it around at parties, as if it were a disinfected piece of candy, and set the subject in a trance like state of funk, and strangeness, and diminish the brain cells of the inhaler, only to get a pleasurable high in discovering nothing. Aside from that, peer pressure is social factor that really needs to stop in the influence of consuming drugs in a useless manner.

basic High School chem.

But I'll help because I'm nice:

1 gram of I2.
1.00g / 253.8g (I2 = 126.9g x 2)
= 0.00394 moles of I2

Divide that by 3 to get 1 mole to 3 mole ratio.
= 0.0013134 moles

Multiply by 2 to equal the mole-to-mole ratio of
AlI3.

You get 0.0026267 moles of ALI3

Multiply that by it's molar mass:

0.0026267mol x (407.682g / mol) = 1.0707g of
AlI3

You can do the significant figures.
=====================================
H2O (water vapor) will form, and there should be
some Oxygen gas left. If it's at equilibrium, then
it would change, but assuming NOTHING
changes, then an equal amount of molecules
per liter would react in a 2(Oxygen) to 3
(Hydrogen) ratio. Oxygen and Hydrogen gas are
both diatomic.

2H2 + O2 = 2H2O
You have 3 liters of Hydrogen gas.

You will have 3L + 1L (because Hydrogen gas to
Oxygen gas is in a 2 to 1 ratio). For a total of 4L
of H2O, and 1L of Oxygen gas.

The practical answer would be that since the
container is opened, it escapes and so the
answer should be smaller amounts of both.

hey guys

I'm pretty tired of people saying that imperial system is inferior to the metric system. you people act like the metric system doesn't have any flaws.

there are some inconsistencies that you people just seem to ignore, and i'm tired of it. fix the metric system before you criticize the imperial system.

Here's an example where the metric system is wrong:

say you have a distance of .5meters. now multiply this by .5 meters. You get a distance of .25 meters. however, if you take 50 centimeters, which is supposed to be the same as .5 meters, then this happens: you take 50 centimeters times 50 centimeters = 2500cm = 25 meters.

even though most of the time you can logic this out, this is a huge inconsistency.

get your shit together metric system.

I wonder if the ufo community will actually take a step back and look at their beliefs once this whole thing turns out to be a non-event.

Or will they be looking in the skies next month obsessing over a ambiguous lights.

Hmmmmm
