I have function f(x)=(x+1)*ln((x+1)/(x+2)) and must find real a,b and c so that f(x)=ax+b+c/x+o(1/x) where x tends to +-infinity and o is Peano remainder.

I realize that this is done via the Taylor series but I am completely at a loss when it comes to transforming the variable into a 1/x form. I've attempted writing it as
x(1+1/x)*(ln(1+1/x)+ln(1+2/x)) and finding the taylor for each individually but it gave no fruitful results unless I was doing something terribly wrong.

Some pointers would be gladly appreciated.

Idk, what kind of maths?
What makes 'em interesting for me are things such as the sierpinski carpet, koch curve. Those deal with infinity and 0 for example the sierpinski carpet is a triangle whose perimeter tends to infinity, while it's area tends to zero
Or the number i=sqrt(-1)
or exponential laws
Or maybe proving this pic wrong
pic related
Anyway pick any, I could explain

Hey /sci/, what are some good books for learning about combinatorics (preferably covering both elementary and advanced, or sets of books that cover elementary to advanced). I'm looking to prepare for the Putnam exam, and I have to work on counting.
