In the spring I'm going to graduate from a shit tier state school with a chemical engineering BSE.

I am so fucked, I've applied to well over 100 places over the last semester and have been rejected or ghosted by all of them. Only got one phone interview and never heard from them again after :(

I have no basically no job experience. By some miracle I landed an internship last summer that was cancelled last second because of COVID. That was supposed to save me. Other than that I've been fucking around in a lab doing basically nothing. All my personal in lab projects fall through and the PhD student and professor in charge of the lab are too busy with their own stuff to guide me so I've gotten no meaningful experience out of it. I've helped the professor proof read some of his papers though since so I think I've endeared myself enough to him to have him as a reference. Other than that I TA'd for physics 1 and 2 for a semester.

The only thing I've got going for me is my GPA (it's a 4.0 since my school counts an A+ as a 4.33 if we were normal it would be like a 3.9). I hate my degree anyway, only reason I did it is because it had the highest salary on the Bureau of Labor Statistics website. Should I just get another degree in CS or EE and try again? Life really is awful for a brainlet in stem

Bros, what's the minimum iq to survive in a stem field with a competent gpa ( 3.5+)?

I'm only a 111 iqlet.
