More money goes into maintaining the air conditioners in US government buildings than goes into space. NASA is a fucking joke now and if a gazillion dollars went into it they'd find a way to spend it on useless woke bullshit. Why did the USSR have to collapse, space race was awesome.

University is a joke because you have lecturers telling you that to get a good grade you'll need to have a good understanding of the subject area, and that simply looking for the marking criteria is not enough.
These lecturers have no experience at all in teaching or writing exams. They are always researchers that have been given teaching positions by the upper management in the university. They always consider teaching as some sort of chore, never their work. The lectures are always terrible, and they keep linking you to some 2011 YouTube videos from the previous guy teaching the module because they couldn't be fucking bothered.
Then, they provide a woefully inadequate reading list, if they give one out at all. And this isn't even getting into the fact that these books are never available at the library, let alone the online library (thanks to DRM)
Then, they assess and mark you solely off of an end-of-semester exam, which is terrible written with horribly worded questions that don't include all the necessary information.
When they go to mark the exam, they don't have a proper mark scheme written out, and they hand out marks based on gut feeling instead of a list of strict objective criteria.
And to top it all off, they send out passive aggressive emails along the lines of:
>Very few of you got a good grade in the exam. Those who studied hard got a good grade however!

Fuck this shitty system and whoever supports it
