All the elementary particles are just point sources of energy and the fluctuations of that energy and the resulting interactions between them is what causes the illusion of matter, they don't have mass, which is why they're measured in electronvolts which is then mathematically converted into "mass" through mass-energy equivalence, photons are no different to electrons, it's just a fluctuation of energy, it imparts some energy or "mass" onto things but it is simply so small that it might as well not be there, which is why it can travel so fast and behave the way it does, there's just so many photons in a space at any given moment that the cumulative energy is what gives the illusion of light and, by extension, sight.

Then again I partially don't care because I've gone over the stats myself and it seems to thin out the population regardless of racial identity, and it really sucks that i feel that way, but then again multicultural society has failed us
