anyway, the first two replies pretty much cover the difficulty of the SAT (in math at least). there are three sections- math, and two verbal (reading and writing)

the math is simple math up to about 11th grade US (basic algebra). no calculus whatsoever, and very little (maybe none? i took it 4 years ago so i dont remember the specific material too well) trig.

the writing portion is fucking simple- write an essay, gets scored from 1-10.

the reading portion is also fucking simple- read passages, answer questions that test your comprehension.

it is scored out of 2400- 800 for each section. also, the writing portion is generally not counted as part of the score by most universities.

the shittiest thing about that test is that it takes a whole goddamn day. i went into that shit extremely hungover and walked away with a score all my friends raved over. sadly though, it never even got used.

but anyway, if youre halfway knowledgeable, you'll do fine. most universities care more about other things than test scores anyway. gpa is a big one, for example.
