Thank you for posting this. I can make something similar in MAID-LISP like this:

flipFlopF-: 5 "F " flipFlopT;
flipFlopT-: 5 "T " flipFlopF;

horseFlopT-: 5 "T " ${"horseFlopF"};
horseFlopF-: 5 "F " ${"horseFlopT"};

flipFlop(x)-: 10 *x " " flipFlop(not(*x));

start: flipFlopT lb flipFlop("T") lb horseFlopT;

lb: "
";

And it will print:
T F T F T F T F T F
T F T F T F T F T F
T F T F T F T F T F

But it isn't making a list like your emacs code made lists. It is building a string and has no ability to look back at any of the strings, see the last value was F and then make T.

I have no idea what this means.

Do you have an actual answer or is your whole personality just based on snark and an unearned sense of superiority?

If the Collatz Conjecture is true, what does that mean? If it is true, are there any interesting implications of it being true, or is it just an interesting problem?

Germany has maids? I didn't know this. Is there a history of German maids? A specific styling to a German maid dress? What is the history of maids in Germany? Is there a German maid hat and she just isn't wearing it or do Germans not have their maids wear hats?

This doesn't really answer the question. If reality is a consequence of my thoughts, then shouldn't I be able to do this? Shouldn't I be able to think that person into being or doing whatever I want, or even think them out of existing if I feel like it? Changing someone else's thoughts would be a minor change to reality compared to thinking them out of existence or being noncorporeal and spending a billion years in a void to think.

Good Afternoon /Sci/entists!

I was watching cars get smashed by a machine and hotdog man came and gave me a free hotdog and a free beer.

I ate the hotdog and it was the best thing I have ever eaten. It was not only the best hotdog, it was the best anything.

Now, every time I get a hotdog I remember the peak hotdog and am slightly disappointed. I also frequently find myself thinking about the hotdog before other meals, even meals unrelated to the hotdog because I know it won't be as good as the hotdog was.

I ate this hotdog in 1986.

Is there a name for this effect? How does it work? Can it be intentionally engineered into something?

Thank you /Sci/entists for reading my post.
