I'm currently studying a Chemistry degree and I have a subject about quantum mechanics, but the professor is focused on mathemathically demostrating postulates and the class is very difficult to follow because he doesn't explain enough, he just keeps on writing and writing, cleaning up the blackboard and writing again. He says "these demostrations aren't going to be in the exam but you should learn how we come to these conclusions" but he doesn't realize that by doing this, we chemistry students that aren't used to that enormous quantity of math are losing track of what's going on.

In my case I need to use supplemental material to understand. I'm using chemistry libretexts but I would like to read your book recommendations.
