Hello /sci/
I'm considering going into a STEM career, and I was hoping that those of you who do have a job in a STEM field could answer a few questions that I have about it.
1) What made you decide to choose the career(s) that you have(had)?
2) What level of education did you achieve, where did you get it, and was it worth it?
3) Are there any aspects about your field that you particularly enjoy?
4) Do you enjoy what you do?
5) Any advice for me on what field I should look into, where I should go for college/trade school, or how I should go about life?

If you respond, please put the the number of the question that you are answering in front of your response so that there is less confusion.

Please don't respond to this with some dumb shit, I would really appreciate advice from people with STEM related jobs.

For those of you who do respond, I can't thank you enough.

I'll be here for a while, so I should be able to respond to the anons who do answer one or more of the questions.
