Yeah. This is a copy-pasted thread from /pol/, though, so I'll repeat my opinion here: I find it very weird and condescending. Either changing the problems to Non-European names etc. helps the minority-students or it doesn't. It also either helps or hinders the majority-students.

If it helps the minorities but doesn't hinder the majority then they're essentially calling them racially inferior. If it doesn't help the minorities, but hinders the majority.. what the fuck are you doing?

If it helps the minorities but does hinder the majority, then they're openly admitting to making the teaching worse for the majority of their students on a purely racist basis.

In any case it's a very surreal state of affairs, as I can't see how any of it could be seriously considered.

The proposed mechanics for how it would effect things have been disproven and even if it were true it still wouldn't give you anything resembling "Free Will". Random/Deterministic are the options. Neither of which give an individual a free will. Determined or Arbitrary and impersonal. I'd rather go with Determined, thanks.
