Hey /sci/, i'm in my last year of highschool right now and our 'big assignment' is to choose a Subject and create a report about it + an individual experiment. My subject will be DNA Sequencing, i've been talking with my teacher about some experiments I can do with DNA sequencing but they're very limiting and i will need help of a Business and or an university. But it will be hard, i'm also allowed to do an experiment on heredity. So my question for you people is, what kind of experiment could a highschool student do? Help is very appreciated, thanks in advance.

Hi, thanks for the reply. Could you explain why or link me to a source, for the sake of curiosity?

well, I'd say the lack of formulas in biology stems from the level of complexity. biological systems generally are way too complex for having a single formula to express it, yet we can clearly see an underlying structure. that's why biology is left with "this does this and that does that for that reason".
pic kinda related (no formula)
