You can't even escape this shit as a scientist. Even science jobs want someone who is "positive, confident, and sociable" which is code for "a workplace that will smile to your face but laugh about the pimple on your nose once you leave the room"

All humans are gross catty monkeys and I hate that I have to talk to them in order to network to find an internship and a job.

Don't want to look at humans gross faces and make all these stupid faces in response, while subjecting yourself to their talking about you behind their back? Well, you'll have to live under the bridge.

There's no escape. All careers force you to get involved in workplace bullying and politics and gossip. Even the military. Consider suicide
