I read several months ago that DNA nanocircle was used in the vaccine, I'd previously already researched these several years earlier with their ability to modify DNA..
theres many uses for such things I'm sure but can you specifically state how it was used in the COVID vaccine?
I couldn't manage to find a medical paper that explained it exactly without simply leaving this specific bit completely out.

for what values of a does the system of linear equations

ax+y+z=1
x+ay+z=1
x+y+az=1

have (a) a unique solution, (b) infinitely many solutions,(c) no solution.

Why do I argue with strangers on the internet?

Welp, /sci/. Today was my official last day of high school. I know many of you probably disliked high school, and I can understand why - I did to a certain extent too. This was my first year at this school, and I skipped junior year - so I didn't really feel like I knew any of them all that well. During the last period of the day though, we all went outside and released balloons into the air as a symbol of our aspirations. At first I thought it was stupid - and I still do to some extent - but watching those red balloons fly of and become small dots in the sky miles away really put things into a different perspective. And for a moment, I felt like everyone there with me would go on to be great people.

I have about a month until I leave for university. I don't really know why I made this thread, just experienced a new feeling today. I guess other graduating anons can post in this thread as well - grade school, college, or professional degree.

I hate people like you. You're not part of a scientific field - you're a cult. You never showed interest in science before and when you got into the field you've been blatantly brainwashed with meaningless lingo, flawed methodologies, laughable statistics and the view that extremely complex human behavior in an experiment can be "controlled" and "cleaned" of interfering variables, boiled down to three or four binary variable; and when it comes to correlative studies it's even worse. You've accepted these without questioning because you had no prior knowledge, understanding or even interest in science and therefore no capacity for critical thinking. You will either realize one day that you know nothing outside of your little scientific circle, or you'll remain a mindless sheep.

mfw anyone invested in any scientific field can't call himself a scientist and at the same time sound like a scientologist.

Not OP, and definitely not a nut, but you imply that scientists and researchers never release and use their findings while claiming with reassuring certainty that they're perfectly safe, only to be discovered months or years later that they fucked up a lot of people / environments because bureaucracy and ego joined forces to rush or neglect the process of thinking ahead about possible consequences (releasing new drugs (Thalidomide), pesticides (DDT passed to humans through plants > cattle), useless or controversial medical treatments). Sometimes I feel like people prefer to have a vision of technological advancements as a meticulous, thought-through process of science and rational thinking, rather than a race to the finish between competing companies / institutions driven by money, ego and politics.

tl,dr; we have a history of fucking shit up because we didn't think ahead, claiming that "X is approved by institution Y therefore X is safe" is carelessness.
