ok, i clearly dont understand how it works. but my understanding was that theres a computer program that, yeh, is very fucking complicated, but it just generates them. you solve the math equation, you get a coin. simples.
problem is, it takes a LOT of computer power. that's why you need like a supercomputer or botnet to get this shit done (to any meaningful value)
i was told i could potentially do it on my own shitty PC, but i'd be generating practically nothing, and it'd take up the processing power, so i was like, fuck that, theres better ways to make money without turning my comp into a fucking worthless brick for the duration.

so how exactly does it work, anyway?
