If a|b and a|c then a|bc

Proof: If a|b then a|b yields some integer k, such that ak=b. Likewise, a|c yields some integer l such that al=c. Hence
bc= (ak)(al)
= a(kl)
Therefore, b and c both share the common divisor a. Thus, a|bc.

how can I strengthen this proof? in return tits
