I approach you with all due respect edition: please recommend me a book or workbook. I am a decently smart guy, top percentile in all standardized tests including MCAT and LSAT, abnormal WISC score as a kid, and I want to get into math. I know this is lame but I feel that being taught by women deprived me of the joy of seeing math as exploring, and thus conquering, new space and acquiring and devising new tools, which is very virile stuff. I know this is rubbing people the wrong way but can I please get some recommendations of things I can read to get into math? I loved the book Organic Chemistry as a Second Language, and I'd like stuff more like that if possible.
