So what of animals who can detect/sense radio signals? Are we driving them mad?

I am open to admit I know little to nothing about the very thing I've just started reading on, but am looking to hear what physicists have to say.

How can time, a non-physical object, project the shadow of a tesseract; a physical object? Is the right angular projection away from the 3 dimensional cube, for example, a means of viewing said cube at all angles simultaneously?

With that said, how is it even possible?

Is space absolute or relative?

>inb4 I get laughed at for asking this question. I don't know much about physics.

Hey /sci/, everyone always teases me because Im quiet and don't talk much, and they call me acoustic.
How can I make myself less quiet and acoustic?

As we know, we live in a 3 dimensional universe:
1 - left & right
2 - forward & backward
3 - up & down

I believe the 4th dimension is "in" and "out".
There are no "limits" as to how far you can move up, down, forward, backward, left, or right; assuming the universe if infinite. Even if it is finite, that doesn't break down the theory.

"In" and "out", in the best explaniation I can give, is how we view things as "big" and "small". There is no limit to how big something can be, nor how small they can be. The hypercube does in fact appear to be a "shadow" of a true 4 dimensional cube. The cube in the "middle" of the hypercube seems to show the "in" and "out" part of the cube. You cannot move "in" and "out", since you live in a 3 dimensional universe. But imagine in a 4 dimensional universe, you could "move" in a direction that would allow you to instantly become "bigger" or "smaller" and move in that sense, yet not becoming subject to the consequences of becoming a more massive or less massive object such as having more gravity or being more influenced by it, since you aren't actually increasing or decreasing your mass.

Quite difficult to picture. Kind of like trying to imagine a brand new color, not a shade of existing colors, but a NEW color. Quite difficult indeed.

Here, maybe Carl Sagan can explain it better: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UnURElCzGc0

Will the human mind ever be able to conceive things in four space dimensions?

Why can't we measure time as a physical dimension, or at least convert it to physical units? We can measure xy&z as meters, why would time or higher dimensions be an exception?
