How can one be a mathematician and not a philosopher?
How can one be a philosopher and refuse to be a mathematician?
How can you be a mathematician and a philosopher and refuse to be a physicist?
It seems a polymath is the only thing you can be, intellectually, and everything else is a degeneration of the natural state.

How can I study if death is ahead of me, and could happen before the expectancy?
How can I be reasonable, if my irrational instincts are powered by the death of conscience?
If I was expected to die in 2 years, I would have to drop out of uni and do everything on my adrenaline list.
Even if I was expected to die in 10 years, my efforts towards a degree are a waste of time because I have no long term reward, and thus I would do the same thing: drop out, go YOLO mode.
Even if I die at the age of 70, how could I not have a constant anxiety about death, ruining my reasoning?
It seems academic effort can only come from the idea that I Won't die, or at least that my "soul", or conscience, won't die. So the idea of a soul is at least a cope mechanism that made our science possible.

How do you learn Chess?

Playing slowly? Playing fast?
Reading chess books? Which ones?
Learning math, programming?

All this happens under control with meditation.

It's been a while since I've seen one of these.
