/Sci what is wrong with people?
I went on Omegle for the first time because a friend told me it would be fun, but it is just depressing as fuck.
Everyone is a lonely teen who looks like they haven't slept in days mindlessly using Omegle.

Do these kinds of people gravitate towards sites like this for some reason? Why the fuck don't they just go outside if they are lonely? what is going on here this doesn't seem healthy /sci?

I will tell you as soon ans someone tells me how to stop making simple arithmetic mistakes, Like dividing (√9.81)/(√1.63) instead of (√1.63)/(√9.81)

Every............ fucking.......... time.........

Hey /sci Got a question for you all
Not homework I am ahead and came across this

"Find the length of a pendulum that oscillates with a frequency of 0.16 Hz"

Ok so the formula T=2π Squareroot Length/Gravity

It gave me Hz so I need seconds so .16Hz to seconds is6.25 (1/0.16 for those who dont know about the relation between the period and frequency)

So solved for L
L=T^2xgravity/4π^2
L=6.25^2(9.81)/4π^2
L=945.5 Meters

But the problem is the answer is 9.7 Meters
But how the ...?

Can /sci help? I don't know where I went wrong.

Well in this case it would be Kinetic friction since the box is apparently moving but they gave no coefficient of friction or frictional force so we have no way of knowing what it is. So i am assuming "frictional force" here is the Gravitational force.

(Yeah I know we are still in baby math mode because the kids in my class don't understand jack shit)

But yeah if you assuming that 10N is the applied force then it would NOT be going up it would be "falling"

So the initial question contradicts itself either way really.

But putting that aside then the net force would be 40Net down and Number 5 would not be 0 and number 6 would not be 0 (We actUALLY HAVE no WAY OF KNOWING 6) because the problem stated 3meaters up but it is moving down in this situation............

You see what I am getting at m8? There is no way to make this make actual sense in the real world even though my teacher says it does........

A pan of water is heated from 23 C to 78 c . what is the change in its temperature on the kelvin and fahrenheit scales?

F= (9/5 * C) + 32

If you convert the two C to F and subtract you get 99F. But if you take the difference and convert it to Farenheit , you get 131 (Also noticed that if you don't add the 32 you end up with 99 Can anyone explain?) Why are they Different?

Explaining a K-means algorithm is like explaining colors.
