The idea as I understand it is the the end state of heat death, of absolute entropy, is mathematically near- identical to the initial state of big bang.

As such the heat death sets the stage for a new big bang, no crunch needed.

Hello /sci.

First time ever on this board, But i figured i'd ask here since all other boards are usually fairly helpful.

I started university this week, It turns out i'm doing "discrete Mathematics." as part of it. Which is a bunch of crazy stuff i've never even looked at before now.

Just so we're clear on what the stuff looks like. An example would be. f(x) = 3x² + 2.

I was perhaps hoping if someone here who knows wtf they're doing, would be so kind as to give their email (or and kind of messanger they use.) address. So i could talk to them and get some kind of tuition on this subject.

I'm not good at maths, But i want to get my head around this so i don't fuck up/fail my degree.

A humble request i lay at your feet. Please help me.

pic unrelated.
