>tfw went into mechanical engineering because I was actually interested
>made 3.8 GPA without much effort because I actually enjoyed it and watched as everyone failed out
>three paid internships
>had job offers before graduation
>80K starting
>now make 98K at 26

Some have life on easy mode and have always been interested in challenging things.

you just practice, anon.

like literally anything else, you need to practice it to git gud. some nignogs get it to click earlier, but they statistically won't invent shit or do anything worthwhile with their maths skills so who gives a fuck

source: tons of indians and asians were in my school, "good" at maths, but literally shit at everything else in life, were immature brats that clearly had personal issues, nobody liked them, will undoubtedly contribute zero to society

>mfw electrical engineer
>mfw will never have to worry about getting work
>mfw I will always do something related to my major and what i'm interested in
>mfw one of the highest paid majors at graduation and mid-career

I honestly don't care much about money as long as I make enough to live on and not worry about paying bills since I'm still young and single, but I'll take it.

this. I easily do my best when I'm in school. It's how we're all raised for all of our young lives so it makes sense.

Using a Pentel Twist-Erase III as an example, which is probably what I'd recommend to everyone that doesn't want to spend more than like $4: the quality is just right. It's not so good that they cost like $15 each, but it's miles better than any other plastic made in china trash you'll buy. The pencil breaks in half to replace lead. They will hold at least 10 pieces, which is about five pencils. They have hi-polymer graphite and erasers, which just means it's more durable, less likely to break. They're designed as drafting pencils, which have sharper points, which allows you to see what you're writing and makes you write better. They have weight to them, which makes writing much more pleasant.

The shit is just better and doesn't cost that much.

The Twist-Erase III is the best pencil you'll ever use. It's inexpensive, but not cheaply made. You have a huge, easily changeable eraser that retracts to stay flush with the pencil, not allowing it to be broken off or fucked up in your bag etc.. it holds loads of graphite that is easily replaced by pulling the pencil in half. It feels good. It's inexpensive. It's better in every single way to a traditional pencil. I don't know how you would use anything else after switching.
