No the biggest obstacle is flesh.
Realistic terraforming is on the order of thousands to as little as 500 years with enough drive.
500 years.
500 years to terraform 1 planet, or change ourselves to be able to exploit any body short of the most extremes, like black holes.

How about we just adopt a form that have no muscles to atrophy, among other things ?

If the station doesn't need food or oxygen, it would suddently be much easier.
