There is. People actually look even more gorgeous than this by default in the afterlife:

OP, are you afraid of what you believe death to imply, whether it is oblivion, eternal nothingness, an afterlife, hell, reincarnation, or the uncertainty of it all? Or are you afraid of death no matter what it is of those scenarios?

Either way, if you want a practical experience that might ease your fears, >>10343538 and >>10343788 are on the right track. For instance, I was shown that life is at least an ultrajoke. It really is ridiculous how seriously we take this role-playing experience, but that is also part of the immersiveness and the fun that we wanted to have. Believing the movie, video game, or book is real while you are experiencing it makes it more fun. You wanted to believe in the exclusivity of this world before you came here, so enjoy it!

Your argument hinges on speculation for which you have no evidence. Therefore your argument is of no scientific relevance whatsoever. When you have empirical evidence that demonstrates that there is electrophysiological activity in the cererbral cortex 3-5 minutes after the onset of cardiac arrest in humans, then you might have a point. Until then, you are committing the fourth fallacy in this paper: https://digital.library.unt.edu/ark:/67531/metadc937962/m2/1/high_res_d/vol26-no3-227.pdf (pp. 229-234)

That "challenge" was a media stunt that no serious scientists took seriously.

I mean come on.

Sometimes you just get so endlessly tired by the nonsense playing on repeat by humanity. Are you interested in the truth or not? If you are, then why are you religious or fundamaterialists? Why don't you actually research the data that's actually relevant to the question at hand?

If we want to find out if there is life after death, shouldn't we actually research the relevant phenomena pertinent to that question? Why aren't there Musk-tier donations on research into NDEs, Death Bed Visions, Death Bed Coincidences, After Death Communication, Terminal Lucidity, Shared Death Experiences, etc? These phenomena CLEARLY indicate that there's more to the story than the ">muh materialism and extinction at death #Science #ayylmao" drone-like thinking would suggest.

So where are the billions of dollars, or at least millions of dollar, to support this research? Don't you want to know with empirical data that there's an afterlife?

Pic filename very related.
