Okay, so.

The universe begins. It evolves with stuff like nuclear fusion and life and so on. The great unknown and all that fun stuff. Then entropy overtakes us. 'Time' continues indefinitely until quantum particles happen to coalesce into a singularity. Lesser incarnations or those unsuitable for life will pass uneventfully. Eventually, a proper big bang will occur due to the nature of probability. Then, the universe is reborn and the process begins anew, albeit in a slightly different form.

Does this sound about right?

What is /sci/'s take on the hallucinatory experience induced by certain drugs, namely, psychedelics.

Is it simply a testament to the unbelievable complexities that our mind can conjure with little more than a few new neurochemical interactions or is it telling/hinting at a form of thinking/perception plateaus above what we can comprehend.

Doing Psychedelics/ reading DMT trips reports is making me question my atheism. I'm left wondering if there IS a collective consciousness or if it's all an illusion. What does the DMT trip mean?
