the direction of spin is of course NOT caused by the Lorentz force, because there are NO photons involved in beta decay. It might be seen as a consequence of conservation laws.

The right hand rule is certainly consistent with parity simmetry, as is all electromagnetism. The B field is a pseudovector, because it's a cross product of two proper vectors. There is no unconsistency.

Hello /sci/, functional retard here.

Can somebody recommend me a book on thermodynamics that explains shit along with graphs/diagrams?

I realized a lot of my confusion stems from not being able to visualize and associate the differentials with what is going on/what I am trying to achieve with them.

Hey /sci/.

Today my philosophy teacher suddenly started talking about prime numbers and argued that a proof by contradiction isn't enough to prove that there are an infinite amount of primes. According to him there are some mathematicians who think that proof by contradiction in general is flawed. Yeah I know, he's not even a mathematician but this still got me interested and so I tried googling but didn't really find anything of relevance.

What do you think /sci/? Is this some wannabe-wise -philosopher's bullshit again?

>The specific weight, g, of a system is defined as the weight per unit volume (note that this definition violates the normal definition for specific properties). Is the specific weight an extensive or intensive system property?
So I'm having a little trouble finding why specific weight (unit weight) is one or the other.
