You probably wouldn't need a centrifuge as travel times would be too short to warrant it. A fusion torch can give you prolonged acceleration but it will be low, probably around .1g. There would be a suggestion of gravity aboard but not enough to make much difference. The ship wouldn't need to be quite double it's current length, the whole half of it from the middle PDCs down is drive, cargo bay, and water, say make it 50-60% longer.
It's base would also have to be the widest part of the ship, because even the light cast from the fusion torch would be enough to raise the hull to white heat. The base would be some enormously reflective and actively cooled material, it would always be at least red hot if not more so when the drive is on.
The ship's radiators would probably be at least as long as it's own body, making it look almost like a lawn dart or something of that kind.
It's drive isn't really conformal to any real fusion torch, likely it would be some sort of conical set of magnetic coils and laser igniters, with the actual plume of hot plasma forming not inside of it, but between 1-300m away from the ship and behind it.
