Just use them to build Glasgow-style micro-subways then. Deep running Glasgow-style micro subways in dirt-cheap Boring Company tunnels would be absolutely killer for lower-volume infill routes to close gaps and connect nodes or spokes on pre-existing subway systems. It'd have similar capacity to light rail for slightly more money but with higher speeds and no susceptibility to weather or traffic.
