Ok, so correct me if I'm wrong here.

Using the Havel-Hakimi theorem I'm led to believe this particular graph isn't possible
>5 5 4 3 2 1
>4 3 2 1 0
>2 1 0 -1

Therefore a graph with six vertices and those specific degrees isn't possible, right?

I recently tried to get out of a flipped internal clock by drinking a shitload of coffee during the day. Nothing happened but a racing heart and better attention span. I then remembered that this has always been the case and I never thought about it; do I have ADD?

Need some help with mathematical induction.

sum_(i=1)^(2n-1) (-1)^(j-1) *j^2 = n(2n-1)

I came to this point:
3.) for n->n+1

n(2n-1)+(-1)^(2n-1) * (2n)^2 +(-1)^(2n) * (2n+1)^2

Can you help me out ?

Regarding Buckingham pi theory/dimensional analysis...

So, I just learned it, and it seems pretty interesting. I've always wondered how difficult it would be to analyze anything, yet people always seem to be able to do it. After I just got done learning how simple it can be applied to mechanical variables, I wondered, what else can it do?

I understand a few things:
- Obviously, it reduces the variables needed for an equation.
- It makes scaling a HELL of a lot easier.

But other than that, I really haven't been able to brainstorm nor find a good source on other exploits for this. Can someone shed some light on this for me?
