Rural "retards" don't pack together like sardines. Cities still haven't shut down their subways, buses, and other disease vectors. But yes, it's the ranchers in Wyoming where cattle outnumber humans ten to one that are spreading the disease.
Social distance is orders of magnitude more effective than masks, especially the low quality ones that most people can't even wear correctly.

Why not social distance? It's more effective than masks. And before you say "why not do both" the answer is because city folks refuse to social distance correctly. You can't even get them to shutdown subway systems in which people are pressed up against each other with their faces inches apart. No cheap mask is going to protect you from anything in such a situation. Masks are a cope to cover up for the urbanite's refusal to change their way of life to prevent the spread of the virus.

Politicians bending over backwards to defend the riots is going to guarantee no cooperation from the rest of the country when it comes to continuing or reinstating the lockdowns.

Why can't we just wall of NYC and its suburbs? It's obvious that's the breeding ground for this disease which then emanates it outwards. Why does the entire country need to pay the cost for a city that won't even shut down its disease vector subway system?
