It would be significantly better if you could first become a PA and then get the M.D after a few years later if you choose to pursue it. Like the dude is already 2 years in school, let him be a doctor if he already made it this far. If not, just let him be a PA. With that way, at least the time in med school isn't wasted because they would at least be a PA after 2+3 years.
