/sci/ I need some figures for pollution and CO2 emissions for cars vs. trains
I know its a common rule of thumb that train comes out on top, but I need facts & figures.
So far I've found two vague websites that offer calculations, but (i) their figures are way off from one another-ones talking tons the other hundreds of kilos (ii) it doesn't factor what sort of train: diesel locomotive/DMU/EMU/electric locomotive (iii) nor does it factor the source of the electrical generation: coal will be very dirty and natural gas will be low emission - how ii & iii pan out can add greater efficiency of the train

why do people say scientists are lying about climate change and cant be trusted and have some secret agenda part of a vast byzantine plot on the part of the NWO?

Are scientists involved in a vast conspiracy to receive more funding, increase our taxes, hand our taxation over to the NWO, etc?

Im writing a novel about time travel where the main character is from California and uses a super-collider to cause a crack in time and teleport themselves through time. The main twist in the novel is where the name "America" is degraded over time into "Atlantis"
Tell me if I need a better description of my plot, or if its simply too filled with plot holes to bother with.
