Take the time to educate yourself. The vague definitions of the levels is mainly what makes this "equal to Chernobyl".

In summary: Chernobyl, the reactor was bigger and it fucking exploded. Not a little or a steam burst, but fucking exploded, several times. It also released massive clouds onto a huge downwind area. The Fukushima reactors have yet to explode and are not likely to.
The designs are different significantly, the response is much better and...oh yea...they are going to fucking bury it...just like we have been saying.
