x^2+4x=320
I know x is 16, but I need the steps on how to solve the equation.

Are you stupid?

Mathematics can and has failed to replicate reality correctly despite the mathematics themselves being correct. Mathematics is an extremely useful tool and it can be used to attempt to model reality to a practical degree of reality but your assertion that it is absolute, and that anything proven viable with math is automatically also true in reality, is just as religious as believing Jesus Christ rose from the dead three days after he passed away on the cross.

String Theory isn't even a legitimate theory (it's just a strong hypothesis) until it's been verified via physical and observational prediction in replicated and scrutinized controlled experimentation and prediction.
