He's widely overrated, i mean he had some neat ideas, but people compare him to Einstein and Newton which is laughable

he never really had any revolutionary ideas

Tesla curled each of his toes one-hundred times a night to, believing it stimulated his brain. Was he right? Can toe-curling free me from brainletdom.

Excuse my poor English. I love learning and I love science but whenever I try to sit down and read a science or any book, my brain automatically trances into like autopilot mode and after a while I come back to realize that I have no idea what I just read. I hate it.

This also happens to me in school. I listen to the professor and he says something that I like and I start thinking about the topic and experiment with it in my head but it makes me no hear the rest of lecture. I am not bored, I just don't know why this is happening to me. It is affecting my grade.

Please help. Thank you

Newbie to /sci/

First post here, probably a 'meme' question;

Who, in your opinion is the most intellectual human being in history? Not just one who has made the most scientific breakthroughs etc, but overall greatest mental capacity?

Does Tesla rank high on that scale?

Very curious to hear what you guys have to say/learn about new scientists/inventors/engineers in particular.

Thanks

What was so special about Nikola Tesla and why did a lyric in this rap battle say he has Reddit?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gJ1Mz7kGVf0

Does Reddit strongly support Tesla?

Did Tesla really want to make electricity free?

This is (really) old news to you, I'm sure, but I just found it and I'm far too kindergarten to be able to make my own educated judgement. Id like to know:

1. If this guy (MrTeslonian@youtube) is worth watching, and more importantly, is correct (energy related stuff obviously[ /watch?v=niBAyyyr_wU ]).

2. Hes made this post in a couple of his own video threads, and I haven't found any responses, or anything on the internet about it:

Why is it that E=mc`2 is only theory and not law after this many years? I will give the world the real formula it is " E=me`2" or (Energy = mass times the speed of the electron squared) The electron in a vacuum is at least twice as fast as the photon. April If you think I'm wrong than find out why in every single instance that we create light or photons from x-rays to radio,we slow down the electron or ion to produce a photon, that's like saying you get more from less. Fools The reason E=mc`2 never became law is because when the formula was applied to the speed of an electron it always came out with a number larger than the speed of the photon this is fact ask any MIT professor. My Paper E=me`squared was released yesterday and the video will be up soon... ...

Only the first 1/4th, but hits the 2k cap, Ill follow up with the rest if I can do it before everyone yells at me that its a common sense troll... Wasn't able to find this paper of his... And I was pretty much under the impression that e=mc2 wasn't really a debated thing, so though the videos look neat, I got a lot of big red signs screaming at meh in my head and I want someone to tell me they're obviously justified or... That I shouldn't have signs in my head cuz they go on streets.
