the lab i want to research in during phd is run by a chinaman and out of his current students and past 20+ he has only had chinese phd students

Why should I care about global warming and climate change if its going to affect humans 1000 years in the future? Like, no offence to any time travellers on this board, but I really couldn't care less about Cleetus the XII in the 31st century get fucked over by rising sea levels. Its up to them to solve their own problems in the future, not shift the responsibility to us in the past.

Why do our brains troll us like this? Is there a scientific explanation? This can't be just a random dream as there is a clear pattern of trolling - like there was this other dream I had where I had a qt 3.14 gf and just when we were about to kiss I woke up.

Sometimes I think about it,and I always how nice it would be but then I remember the pressure.
Actually not much difference because when I was first starting highschool I really god into math and learned all the way to integral calculus and everyones around me was like "ur a genius dude" and the teachers used to take me to math competitions (which I never won any of them), I'm not even fast calculating

>made A's in Gen Chen 1+2 and Gen Bio 1+2, never studied, was always one of those kids who heard something once and grasped it

>now study my ass off and struggle to make B's, dropped all classes this semester cause the highest grade I could get was a C
>even after studying forget half of it when I go into the exam this semester
>can't retain information like I used to, couldn't tell you how to do anything I learned last semester

What is wrong with me? Could I have a degenerative brain disease? Does it get harder to learn when you get older? I did some heavy drinking and some molly and 2C-x drugs during a 3-4 year clubbing phase in my years off, could I have damaged my brain?

I just ordered some Noopept to see if that will help.
