This term is called the 101 effect
The effect occurs when somebody takes multiple basic classes on different subjects leading them to belive their experts in all of them.
This effect is most commonly seen in engineers that have to take many basic classes ranging from programming to the sciences giving them a false sense of confidence over the capabilities.
The reason for the name is due to the fact that most basic classes are followed by a 101
