If you want to end war and violence, you have to remove anger and fear from the human emotions.
If you wish to do that, you will make us pure homo sapiens, because we no longer have the emotions that make us animal anymore.
The next logical step in evolution is thus a homo species with no anger or fear.

The 4chan problem is not the case. I like what I'm studying so procrastination an repetitions are not the problem. The problem is I have too many topics of interest I guess.

Alright /sci/, I'm completely fucking stumped. I haven't done math in goddamn forever and my shitty teacher dosen't understand the concept of teaching.

We looked at the limits in functions with asymptotes involved (The limit of f(x) as x approaches infinity). Well that's easy enough to understand, so she showed us how to find limits in functions, was pretty simple, could do whatever examples were shown and stuff.

So now it's homework time and I have no goddamn idea wtf am I reading, all questions don't relate to anything she gave as notes.

(Keep in mind that all "lim" have a x approaching infinity symbol)

True or false.
If f(x) and g(x) are functions such that lim( f(x) + g(x) ) exists then both lim f(x) and lim g(x) must exist.

Could someone explain what the hell am I reading?

Hey /sci/,

I'm currently taking Bio and bending over backwards trying to learn this information. I'm a English person, and always fall short when it comes to math and science. I'm currently working on what most people would consider an "easy" homework problem, and I know how each thing works, but I don't know how it should be laid out in more simplistic terms.

"The genome of an organism is inscribed in DNA, or in the case of some viruses, RNA. The portion of the genome that codes for a protein or an RNA is referred to as a gene. Those genes that code for proteins are composed of tri-nucleotide units called codons, each coding for a single amino acid." - I understand.

But, for a word bank of "amino acids, DNA, gene, and protein" I cannot figure out the order of "In order to make this [blank], out of this [blank], you use instuctions, called [blank], the instructions are made of: [blank].

To give you an idea of how bad I am at Bio, I am a Senior in College. This is I think something I should have known from grade school, but I simply don't understand. Please point me in the right direction.

TL;DR- I am unrealistically bad at science, and cannot answer this question, which I essentially have the answer for, right in front of me.
