So do I! But it's fundamentally unsustainable to have any branch of science as the default career path. I don't want my future kids to go to high school and get needled into majoring in biology so they can "make money" as adults. I would be a failure of a father if I didn't instill a love of science and mathematics in them, but at the same time I'd be just as much of a failure if I helped build a world that narrowed their horizons that much.
