Hey /sci/, I'm trying to work through some genetics problems, but I've run into a wall.

I'm supposed to calculate the expected proportions of offspring of a given breeding, but I'm only given the map units of the genes in question. 6 and 17.3. No population or anything.

How am I supposed to work out a number of offspring from just the recombination frequency? It assumes no chromosomal interference, if that helps.
