This kind of things happened all the time, the dude was hilarious, but some times i felt he took a bit too much pleasure in putting us in trouble.

Ok /sci/ I have a retarded question but I didn't know where else to ask it, indulge me

A couple of days ago I unplugged my freezer meaning to plug it back in after a couple of minutes, then forgot to do so. Why isn't important. So I noticed earlier tonight and all my food was ruined, frozen pizzas were just mush etc. But, I had a bag of ice cubes in there and they're still absolutely fine. I would have thought water ice would be the first thing to melt.

So what gives?

Hey guys, I'm working on something at the moment and I need to know the name/label for the gene or effect or whatever you call it for the thing that inspires "empathy" in certain sets of animals (if not all animals, the stuff that makes special relationships, mood detection, and coexisting possible). I remember hearing something about it once but cant recall enough details to do a proper search.
