Hello /g/. My old Iomega external HDD is dying and I need a new one.

What brands should I avoid and which brands are good? Don't want to make a bad purchase.

Thanks.

This thread is full of trolls and idiots who keep repeating stuff they heard in their culture and associated with some biological correlates. So if it cries more and it's statistically significant, it's 'female'. If it wants moar sex and it's stat-signficant then it's 'male'.

Good luck 'understanding' sex by infinitely mirroring what previous culture has built into you.

So much expense for what? We don't lack territory yet and cities and countries haven't yet began to experience major resources crises (I mean, like those during which there's a breakdown of social order because of scarcity), so why invest gigantic resources to set up an artificially forced-created Mars which would only work maybe locally and for a while?

It seems like a geeky ambition without political foresight.

>Everyone on this board seem to have the opinion that everyone who isn't directly involved in top level pseudo-science is a brain dead moron

I didn't state this anywhere, just that they have
>no education
in the matter, which seems to be correct for a vast majority. Seeing that such information is easily accessible (mere seconds to minutes) and not even that hard to understand if you just want a general overview of the topic, the behaviour of those people is highly questionable.

If you have no drive to educate yourself at all keep your mouth shut.

Yeah, the media is exploiting this really hard - cause it's damn easy to do so.

Strict subjectivity of human consciousness?
Tell me something new.

Observe --> Deduct --> Apply
If we wouldn't do that, we'd still live in fucking stone caves.

Come at me, objectivists.

Still, get your definition of 'instinct' straight if you don't want to start a ruckus on every psychologic or philosophic dabble ever.

It's just tiring, media starts throwing around absolute Sv numbers that should be Sv/h and vice versa. Or just quoting brief highs (like the 8k µSv) as if they're at a constant level.

Whatever suits their headline or political opinion best.
