Hahahaha this is the first time I've visited /sci/ in quite a while, and I must say the background is strangely fitting. This board is pure silliness.

Its about as scientific as /new/ was about the news.

The background does make me wonder what the level of mod frustration is atm though. Reminds me of /r9k/ shortly before it was taken down.
If this board is deleted, I will not miss it.

1) Psychology
2) Astronomy
3) Physics
4) Mathematics
5) Biology
6) Chemistry

Regarding Bio and Chem, I think they are very important but most books and professor just lack the ability to make the subject really stand out. They just go through mundane fact without any real enthusiasm.

The answer is 288 for the following reason:

There is no reason to be reading 48/2*12 from right to left. But, there is reason to be doing it from left to right , simply because we read from left to right.

Divide and multiply have no precedence over each other so in the end you just have to do it from left to right.

Also Wolframalpha and Google say the answer is 288.

My physical calculator says the answer is 2 though.
