Everything does happen at c, dude. It just takes a while for every individual bit of a complete system to have finished happening to happen.

This is the chemical formula for love:

C8H11NO2+C10H12N2O+C43H66N12O12S2
dopamine, seratonin, oxytocin.

It can be easily manufactured in a lab, but overdosing on any of them can cause schizophrenia, extreme paranoia, and insanity.

Let that sink in.

You guys wanna help me with a project to make a timeline of the entire universe...on SCALE?!? (yes, you heard right douche, on scale, that is 14,35 billion years of timeline in one pic, 275000 pixels wide each pixel being 50.000 years!)

link to project in next post

Hey /sci/

Can somebody explain to my dumb ass how integrals work? I've researched it on the interwebs but it still doesn't make any sense to me. Any chance of having this explained to me in a manner which your common /b/tard could grasp?

Grandmothers: both alive, one is 70-something, the other is 82. first seems to be in good health (despite a long history of smoking), the latter has had a hip replacement and other surgeries, but is still fairly active

One grandfather died in his 80s (he had marfan syndrome which I have inherited), the other is still alive into his 70s, has shitty hearing but still coaches football and does hands on work, making metal sculpture things for fun

both sides have healthy hearts and below average blood pressure, that is the most important thing

Hi /sci/.

I was watching a khanacademy video over polynomial approximations for my Calculus II class last night. Sal showed how the functions e^x, sinx, and cosx all have very similar polynomial approximations despite the fact that the expressions come from completely different fields of mathematics. He said that to this day, it is inexplicable why it is so. The fact we discovered sin/cos from the ratios of triangles, e^x from interest over time, and somehow the two mesh together perfectly.
For instance:

e^i(pi) = -1.

The pi comes from the ratio of a circumference of a circle to its diameter, the e comes from continuous compound interest, and i, which is the imaginary number. All of the fundemental numbers of mathematics coming together in one unified, orderly expression.

Thoughts?
