How brainwashed do you have to be to believe this? Mental illness at an all time high, and increasing. Drug addiction high, and increasing. Suicide rate increasing. Face it. People trying to create new avenues towards solutions and solve 1 problem that solves millions of others are on the right path.

Scientists are focused into finding stupid results like incremental "Blah blah has 2% better reaction with 1 specific type of cancer" than on focusing said brainpower on general solutions to general problems.

This specificity is rewarded and pushed rather than large-scale wide ranging general solutions.

Science is dying and will be dead with the advent of AI/AGI. All your brainpower work moving a vector 0.1 units forward in some assinine micro-field of whatever subject you care about is useless.

All your work is useless unless it is working to increase the magnitude of a general-problem solving vector. Stop wasting your time and realize how pointless and stupid it is to be working on any such problem when literal GENERAL INTELLIGENCE needs to be solved. If you are above 100 IQ and non-delusional you can see that everything I said is 100% truth. Your sand castle work will be washed away by a single wave soon. Stop working on the sand castle and work on the wave.
