The body of studies on African IQ's are filled with misconduct and Lynn in particular has been proven a fraud and a hack.
Nearly every """race science""" study is funded by an American post-Civil War think tank with a stated eugenicist agenda.
The results of the Minnesota studies are open to interpretation and can actually be used to justify the environmental hypothesis, and that's by the admission of the study authors themselves.
The Bell Curve cherry-picks the studies that support its thesis and ignores the body of studies conducted in Europe that contradict it.
Studies on Koreans in Japan reveal a similar achievement gap to the black-white gap in America despite their genetic similarity.
Studies based on measuring the relative frequency of genes that code for intelligence are thwarted by the fact that they rely on an incomplete reference genome.
The London "taxicab" studies prove via fMRI that brain structure is physically malleable, even in adults, through focused practice.

Each one of those could make (or derail) an entire thread on its own, but this thread supposed to be about Watson, who is now firmly in quack territory the way he refuses to argue his position.

Nice strawman, but I didn't say he has to personally prove it, I said he has to defend it, i.e., he should cite the studies he believes prove his claim, not just vague anecdotes like "if you work with them you'll know." It's not like he doesn't know how to write a paper or a letter.

No, it directly refutes it.
It shows that his analysis measures ONLY the degree to which Africans are "genetically disjoint" (to use your layspeak) from Europeans, and completely fails to provide provide any meaningful prediction about intelligence.
As shown by the Cell article, such analysis is inherently meaningless and can't even accurately predict population heights.
Now consider this: there is no statistically significant average height difference between Europeans and Africans, even though they are "genetically disjoint."

Well, there's not much evidence to support a genetic theory, unfortunately. UK standardized test / achievement scores have destroyed the argument for good.

1. There's now only an 8 point IQ gap between UK blacks and UK whites (instead of the 20-30 point gap predicted by leading race scientists).
2. If you properly separate blacks by sensible categories rather than lumping them all together into one mega group, you find that the children of West African immigrants (e.g. Ghana, Nigeria) dramatically outperform UK whites, when they're not mixed with non-English-speaking amnesty-seeking Somalians or Haitians.
Thus the argument of absolute and immutable intellectual superiority of Whites over Africans has been unequivocally blown the fuck out. It was fun while it lasted though.
