>be me
>very smart in high school, 35 act, 4.28 gpa, ect
>rushed through college apps, got rejected to top 2 choices (ivy's), had no idea what to do
>felt jaded with high school and the college app process, do nothing for months
>realize it's April and I have to go to college
>go to some tiny midwest private college no one outside of the state has heard of
>regret

I want to transfer schools now, but I'm wondering, does it matter where I get my undergraduate degree from? Do grad schools care whether you get your degree from public party school #573 or anywhere else? Should I put some work into getting into a better nationally ranked university with some notoriety?

If it matters, I want to get a BS in Environmental Science or Bio with Environmental concentration, and a minor in geo and/or mathematics, because I enjoy them
